Need some Diavlo RD45 head info...
« on: June 10, 2013, 04:34:10 PM »
I have one on the way. The manual online, is short and sweet, and very little info. I had heard that it was user-friendly, in that I could use EL34's/6CA7's, KT77's, or 6L6? Can anyone confirm? And, if so, is there a bias adjustment, or plug & play?

I'm super stoked about this thing. A lot of GOOD stuff about this amp! I had an RT503H briefly, and it rocked, but was plagued with quality issues. I would think with Fortin involved, the I's are dotted and T's crossed, and should be a monster amp!

I read a post on another forum that mentioned the guy confirming with Randall that it will NOT take anything besides 6L6s.

A qualified tech can easily install EL34s in your amplifier.
Cheers,
