Accutronics Reverb problems.
« on: April 22, 2017, 02:49:37 PM »
Hi everyone, first post....
I bought a Commander 1 in which the reverb (tremolo as well) doesn't reverb.
The schematic shows a voltage of 10 volts on the output from the amp, my multimeter confirms it on my amp. Shaking the reverb I can hear the springs in the speaker.

Both coils on the reverb tank read ~166 ohms from the solder joints.

I conclude that the problem lies in the tiny magnets with the spring hooks, do they lose their magnetism? What would cause this area to fail? That's if it is that area at all.

Thanks.
