As far as I know, it's not assignable. Although it uses midi cable you cannot program it.

Could very well be a thermal shutdown, does the heatsink feel hot or anything seem overwhelmingly warm?
Randall Solid State Amplifiers / Randall X2 problem (overdrive/fry channels)

Hi All,

I have an annoying issue with my X2.

After about 5 minutes of playing time, the channel 2 (overdrive and fry) suddenly stops working.
The clean channel is still on. I can go from one channel to the other, but only the clean one makes sound.

I need to shut down the amplifier for 10 minutes to restore the overdrive/fry channel. And then, after 5 minutes of playing time, it stops again.

Is there some sort of security mode? Over-heating? Anyone with the same issue ?

How to fix it ?

Randall Tube Amplifiers / Ranall Divalo 45h issue
« Last post by furrevig on February 12, 2019, 11:53:06 PM »

Im new to the Randall forum, and new to owning a Randall!
After much research, I pulled the trigger on a Divalo 45h.
I unboxed and fired it up for the first time today and I had some sound issues.
The glow from the tubes were kinda flickering at first, I THINK.
Then the sound on the amp was cutting in and out. I was getting a really weak signal overall, sounding really thin.
After tweaking the amp, I was able to get some usable sounds. Actually some great sounds.
I kept tweaking and I can hear some scratchy pots and some loss of tone going on when messing with the knobs some more.
Is this a simple issue, or is this something I should just return for a new one?

No one is around, but screw it. I'm excited!! This thing is a beast! Heavy in all respects, but has some killer low gain tones too.

Kirk Hammett Amplifiers / Re: KH-75 extension cab

I am very interested in this amp and have one question:

The manual shows two speaker sockets one for the combo speaker and one for an extention speaker.

What can you plug into into the other socket? And does it switch off the standard combo speaker? Could I for example add a 1x12 to it?
Thank you for this answer.

from what i under stand they are labeled with minimum ohm one is 4 ohm the other is 8 ohm when you connect a extinsion cab just make sure to match the ohm load when attached it shuts off the combo speaker, if your not sure email randall and ask them and dont mismatch the ohm rating or you can burn the amps trannys up

I agree with this opinion.
